Install the agent first using the deployment runbook. Connecting verifies its API credentials. When editing, leave the token blank to keep it.

BranchFQDN

Point the new FQDN at this host before saving. Routing and automatic TLS follow the saved domain. The app reloads with updated variables after saving; its previous healthy release stays available if reload fails. Branch changes apply on the next Git deployment.

Back up attached databases before deployments and reloads

Enabled by default. Keeps one rolling pre-deployment copy per database. A backup failure stops activation. Switching databases also backs up the previously active connection.
